Tomatillo Sauce

Tomatillo Sauce

Saute in a deep pan:

  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 2-4 Jalapeno peppers, finely chopped
  • 6 cloves Garlic, crushed

until the onions are soft, translucent, and sweet.

Husk and halve:

  • 10-20 Tomatillos

Add Tomatillos to the pan with

  • 1 bunch chopped Cilantro
  • 1 t ground Cumin
  • 1 t Fish Sauce

Cover with:

  • 2 c Vegetable Stock

Simmer for 20-30 minutes.

Blend with soup wand or blender, and simmer for 30 minutes

Good on grilled fish, or in Tacos
